The legacy of Barrhaven
It may be prudent to reflect for a moment on the history of Barrhaven. In 1824 the township had no road, no school, no church. A virtual wilderness. New settlers arrived one by one, by horse and wagon, by canoe and by sail. These pioneers shared many common privations and blessings and started a way of living that continues to this day. The beautiful community of Barrhaven.
